A Guideline-Driven Approach to RA: Disease Monitoring, Treatment Selection, and Patient Preference

Program Overview

This multi-activity CME curriculum is designed to be directed to your needs. The initial activity is interactive and fast-paced. It allows you to test your knowledge and practice through a series of case vignettes, to compare yourself to your peers and find out what the experts have to say about rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Once you have completed the activity, you will be directed to other activities in RA that may be of interest.

Target Audience

Physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who specialize in rheumatology and internal medicine.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Incorporate guideline-recommended disease activity measures into clinical practice
  • Select individualized treatments for patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) that maximize the opportunity to achieve remission and avoid relapse while minimizing toxicity
  • Employ a strong patient-provider collaborative approach to managing patients with RA that includes patient education, engagement, and shared decision making
